Marker Description


Simple Sequence Repeats (SSR) is an important molecular marker in the genetic breeding.A total of 3,963,119 SSR marker have been detected by the MISA software and 434,690 SSR primers have been developed by the primer3 for the Nicotiana genetic breeding.




Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP) is an vital molecular marker to build the genetic maps for it`s abundant quantity and high polymorphism.At last, 10,621,016 SNP locis have been detected .The software of BWA,Samtools and Bcftools have been used in this study.

RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) is a sensitive method for the detection of mRNA expression levels. Using the coding sequences of six Nicotiana species,a total of 102,895 specific primers are designed.The software of eprimer3 from Emboss package and the E-PCR have been used to simulate the RT-PCR.
